Mortar Commander

Overview

The 17th Separate Heavy Mechanized Kryvyi Rih Brigade is a formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. From 2014 to the present, it has taken an active part in the war against the occupiers. The brigade has fought for Sloviansk, Ilovaisk, and Debaltseve, and defended Mariupol. With the start of the full-scale invasion, the unit carried out missions in eastern and southern Ukraine.

Responsibilities:

  • organizing and directing the mortar squads' firing lines
  • coordinating mortar crews' actions during fire training and combat operations
  • responsibility for ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of mortar fire
  • ensuring safety and compliance with military-tactical requirements during task execution

Requirements:

  • desire to work in the military field and develop one's professional skills
  • ability to effectively manage people and work in a team
  • readiness to perform tasks under combat conditions
  • no medical contraindications for military service

Conditions:

  • mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
  • monetary allowance from 23,000 to 123,000 hryvnias depending on tasks and orders performed
  • social guarantees, provision of gear and necessary equipment
  • guaranteed annual main leave (2 parts of 15 days each) and the possibility of additional leave for family circumstances
  • support in a friendly team of motivated, active, proactive soldiers and reasonable commanders
  • processing of Combat Veteran status and other benefits
