Electronic Reconnaissance Operator

Overview

The 17th Separate Heavy Mechanized Kryvyi Rih Brigade is a formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. From 2014 to the present, it has taken an active part in the war against the occupiers. The brigade has fought for Sloviansk, Ilovaisk, and Debaltseve, and defended Mariupol. With the start of the full-scale invasion, the unit carried out missions in eastern and southern Ukraine.

Responsibilities:

• detecting and intercepting enemy communication and radar signals
• coordinating with other electronic warfare or technical reconnaissance units
• working with radio-technical systems, configuring them for operation in various conditions
• conducting preventive maintenance
• using EW system capabilities to detect and suppress enemy communication equipment

Requirements:

• in-depth knowledge of radio engineering will be an advantage
• ability to work with modern electronic analysis systems
• ability to work under conditions of information overload
• ability to work both in a team and independently
• desire to constantly learn and improve one's skills
• ability to quickly adapt to a situation and quickly make sound decisions
• organizational skills, responsibility, stress resilience

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on tasks and orders performed
• social guarantees, provision of gear and necessary equipment
• guaranteed annual main leave (2 parts of 15 days each) and the possibility of additional leave for family circumstances
• support in a friendly team of motivated, active, proactive soldiers and reasonable commanders
• processing of Combat Veteran status and other benefits
