Analyst

Overview

The 24th Mechanized Brigade is a mechanized forces formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Since the start of the russian aggression in 2014, units of the brigade have been engaged in the war in the east on many fronts. During the russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, the brigade took part in the defense of Popasna. This vacancy is for the position of analyst, who will process and organize incoming information from various sources in the brigade's reconnaissance company, as well as draw conclusions and identify patterns based on the analyzed information, work with databases and Excel, and prepare reports. Service is in the combat zone, but not on the line of contact, with comfortable conditions.

Responsibilities:

• collecting and preparing data from various sources
• populating the database with incoming information
• writing reports and briefs
• identifying trends and patterns
• formulating conclusions and recommendations
• working with situational awareness systems after appropriate training

Requirements:

• analytical thinking
• creativity and an out-of-the-box approach
• sociability and ability to convey complex information in simple terms
• collaboration with representatives of various departments
• a drive for self-development and mastering new technologies
• knowledge of statistics and data visualization will be an advantage
• knowledge of OSINT tools will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• service in the combat area on the eastern axis, but NOT on the line of contact
• work in comfortable conditions with the necessary equipment and tools provided
• possibility of service for candidates who, per the Military Medical Commission's findings, are fit for service in support units, TCC and SP, military educational institutions, training centers, etc.
• accommodation is provided
• three meals a day on-site at state expense
• monetary allowance from 50,000 to 120,000 hryvnias (depending on place of service)
• guaranteed annual main leave + additional 10-day leave for family circumstances
• daily 12-hour duty shifts
• free treatment and financial compensation for injuries sustained in combat

• possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent
