UAS Flight Control Dispatcher

Overview

The 422nd Separate Rifle Battalion is part of the 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade. The unit was formed in 2023 in Ternopil region and took part in fighting in Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The unit is looking for conscientious and motivated citizens who are ready to learn, grow, and together liberate the territories of Ukraine from the russian occupiers.

Responsibilities:

• carrying out combat orders as part of the unit
• controlling flights while carrying out reconnaissance missions
• working with maps: reading, processing, plotting the current situation
• working with specialized software

Requirements:

• a high level of motivation and desire to develop
• knowledge of topography, land navigation skills
• basic knowledge of quadcopter-type UAV operation
• analytical thinking
• computer literacy at a confident user level
• readiness to work in the zone where combat orders are carried out
• complete abstinence from alcoholic beverages and drugs during service
• fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
• having a military specialty code (VOS) as a scout or UAV operator will be an advantage
• experience working with specialized software will be an advantage
• experience serving in reconnaissance units will be an advantage
• knowledge of foreign languages will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• full support for the candidate from the mobilization decision through arrival at the unit
