Videographer

Overview

Photographer / videographer — a serviceman who is responsible for creating high-quality photo and video content about the activities of the unit. You will work with the camera, film events, people, equipment, training and the daily life of the team, as well as help create materials for official information resources.

This position is suitable for those who have experience in photography, videography, editing or content creation and want to apply their civilian professional skills in the military field.

Responsibilities:

• creating photo and video materials (reportage and portrait photos, video clips of various formats, etc.)
• selecting and editing material filmed by other operators, including video from GoPro cameras during combat operations
• assisting in creating informational videos about the unit's activities
• generating creative ideas in line with the unit's goals and objectives

Requirements:

• experience as a photographer, videographer, cameraman, or content maker will be an advantage.
• skills of working with a photo and video camera;
• knowledge of the basics of composition, lighting and frame construction;
• video editing and photo processing skills;
• understanding the specifics of content for social networks;
• responsibility, attentiveness and creativity;
• willingness to work in a team;
• readiness for military service.

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent
• service in the combat operations zone
• guaranteed monthly monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the complexity and location of tasks
• annual additional wellness payment equal to one month's monetary allowance
• annual main leave and additional leave of 10 days or more for family circumstances
• provision of uniforms and personal protective equipment, full meals
• free medical care
