Overview

The 116th Separate Mechanized Brigade is a unit of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine that was formed during the full-scale russian invasion. The unit's service members took part in the heroic Zaporizhzhia counteroffensive and the valiant defense of Avdiivka, and continue to defend our country's territory. Responsibilities:

• creating photo and video materials (reportage and portrait photos, video clips of various formats, etc.)
• selecting and editing material filmed by other operators, including video from GoPro cameras during combat operations
• assisting in creating informational videos about the unit's activities
• generating creative ideas in line with the unit's goals and objectives

Requirements:

• relevant work experience (a portfolio should preferably be provided)
• proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.)
• ability to frame a shot and work with lighting, basic knowledge of shot coloring
• skills in operating and maintaining filming and editing equipment
• experience in the military field will be an advantage
• having one's own equipment for recording video and audio will be an advantage
• creativity, attention to detail, ability to work with color and composition
• ability to work in rapidly changing conditions and complete creative tasks within tight deadlines
• communication skills and ability to listen to and understand team members
• experience working with military or patriotic subject matter will be an advantage
• relevant professional experience of at least 2 years
• military service experience and combat experience will be an advantage
• age from 20

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent
• service in the combat operations zone
• guaranteed monthly monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the complexity and location of tasks
• annual additional wellness payment equal to one month's monetary allowance
• annual main leave and additional leave of 10 days or more for family circumstances
• provision of uniforms and personal protective equipment, full meals
• free medical care
