UAS Platoon Commander
Overview
The "Zli Sapsany" ("Angry Peregrines") Unmanned Systems Battalion of the 30th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Kostiantyn Ostrozky is an unmanned systems formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The battalion has taken part in combat operations in the Donetsk and Kharkiv regions and continues to carry out combat missions and liberate Ukrainian territory from the enemy. The battalion's command has extensive experience in combat operations against the enemy. The unit carries out missions of any complexity, and its commanders are experienced and motivated.
Responsibilities:
- compliance with military discipline and execution of commanders' orders
- commanding a platoon and ensuring its effective functioning
- training and preparing platoon service members
- ensuring compliance with safety rules during the storage, transportation, technical maintenance, repair, and use of UAS equipment
- monitoring compliance with internal regulations
- coordinating with other units and management to achieve set goals
- ensuring a high level of the platoon's morale and psychological resilience
- collecting, analyzing, and transmitting relevant information to the command staff
- keeping weapons, equipment, and ammunition combat-ready
- working with maps (training is provided within the unit)
Requirements:
- officer's or NCO rank (not lower than sergeant)
- fitness for service by state of health
- responsibility and organization
- readiness to perform tasks in various conditions and comply with internal procedures
- desire to grow and move forward alongside the development of unmanned aerial complex systems
- no alcohol, drug, or gambling dependency
- leadership qualities
- ability to lead people and make decisions in stressful situations
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- monetary allowance from 25,000 to 125,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service
- additional payments for the first contract, wellness payment, relocation assistance
