Master Technician/Technician, UAV Maintenance

Overview

The "Zli Sapsany" ("Angry Peregrines") Unmanned Systems Battalion of the 30th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Kostiantyn Ostrozky is an unmanned systems formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The battalion has taken part in combat operations in the Donetsk and Kharkiv regions and continues to carry out combat missions and liberate Ukrainian territory from the enemy. The battalion's command has extensive experience in combat operations against the enemy. The unit carries out missions of any complexity, and its commanders are experienced and motivated.

Responsibilities:

• compliance with military discipline and execution of commanders' orders
• compliance with safety rules and instructions
• assembling and configuring various types of unmanned aircraft systems
• repair of UAV systems and associated equipment
• preparing and maintaining various types of UAV systems
• coordinating with engineers of other units
• searching for new solutions for preparing and repairing UAV systems
• cooperating with UAV operators to ensure the proper functioning of equipment in field conditions

Requirements:

• a high level of motivation, a constant desire to learn and develop
• fitness for service by state of health
• soldering skills
• basic skills working with drone configuration software (experience in this field will be an advantage)
• organizational skills, responsibility, stress resilience
• knowledge of electronics, circuit design, and the basics of electrical installation (experience in this field will be an advantage)
• experience working with various types of microchips will be an advantage
• higher technical education (microelectronics, programming) will be an advantage
• no alcohol, drug, or gambling dependency

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service
• additional payments for the first contract, wellness payment, relocation assistance
