FPV Drone Operator
Overview
The "Zli Sapsany" ("Angry Peregrines") Unmanned Systems Battalion of the 30th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Kostiantyn Ostrozky is an unmanned systems formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The battalion has taken part in combat operations in the Donetsk and Kharkiv regions and continues to carry out combat missions and liberate Ukrainian territory from the enemy. The battalion's command has extensive experience in combat operations against the enemy. The unit carries out missions of any complexity, and its commanders are experienced and motivated.
Responsibilities:
- compliance with military discipline and execution of commanders' orders
- pre-flight inspection of FPV drones and flight planning
- keeping equipment and ammunition combat-ready
- knowledge of the FPV flight operation manual, its technical characteristics, and ground control stations
- carrying out assigned tasks (gathering intelligence, adjusting artillery fire, observing terrain, striking targets)
- orientation on terrain
- working with maps (training is provided within the unit)
- carrying out tasks both day and night
- testing received equipment
Requirements:
- willingness to constantly learn and improve skills
- readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
- high level of responsibility and attention to detail
- fitness for service by state of health
- sociability, stress resistance
- experience working with UAV systems/FPV will be an advantage
- no alcohol, drug, or gambling dependency
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service
- additional payments for the first contract, wellness payment, relocation assistance
