Radio Support Operator
Overview
The "Zli Sapsany" ("Angry Peregrines") Unmanned Systems Battalion of the 30th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Kostiantyn Ostrozky is an unmanned systems formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The battalion has taken part in combat operations in the Donetsk and Kharkiv regions and continues to carry out combat missions and liberate Ukrainian territory from the enemy. The battalion's command has extensive experience in combat operations against the enemy. The unit carries out missions of any complexity, and its commanders are experienced and motivated.
Responsibilities:
- compliance with military discipline and execution of commanders' orders
- monitoring the radio-electronic situation to detect the activity of enemy communication, radar, and other electronic systems
- collecting and analyzing electronic intelligence to obtain data on enemy forces and assets, their location, frequencies, and other parameters
- analyzing, processing, and systematizing data
- conducting electronic warfare: jamming enemy communication and control systems, suppressing or disabling them
- ensuring the protection of one's own communication and control systems from enemy electronic interference
- coordinating with other units of various branches of the military to obtain necessary information
- determining effective approaches and means of protecting personnel
- identifying units' needs for EW and ELINT equipment
Requirements:
- fitness for military service by state of health
- desire to learn and grow
- excellent analytical and communication skills
- self-discipline, responsibility, stress resilience
- confident computer proficiency
- no alcohol, drug, or gambling dependency
- an engineering education or engineering experience, experience working with situational awareness systems, and skills in working with the latest electronic warfare and cyber warfare tools will be an advantage
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service
