Senior Combat Medic
Overview
The "Zli Sapsany" ("Angry Peregrines") Unmanned Systems Battalion of the 30th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Kostiantyn Ostrozky is an unmanned systems formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The battalion has taken part in combat operations in the Donetsk and Kharkiv regions and continues to carry out combat missions and liberate Ukrainian territory from the enemy. The battalion's command has extensive experience in combat operations against the enemy. The unit carries out missions of any complexity, and its commanders are experienced and motivated.
Responsibilities:
- compliance with military discipline and execution of commanders' orders
- providing urgent care to the wounded and evacuating them to a safe zone
- coordinating with medical units on the transport and further treatment of the wounded
- monitoring the proper condition of medical evacuation equipment
- organizing training in providing first aid in combat conditions, conducting briefings and training in tactical medicine for service members
- monitoring sanitary conditions at deployment sites
- monitoring water quality, food, and personnel's hygiene compliance
- disease prevention and ensuring vaccination (as needed)
- maintaining medical documentation and records of sick and wounded servicemen
Requirements:
- medical education (paramedic, medic, nurse) or combat medic certification (CLS, TCCC)
- 1+ years of experience in medicine or combat medicine will be an advantage
- ability to work under stress and make quick decisions
- ability to work in field conditions
- skills in working with medical equipment, tactical first-aid kits, and first-aid supplies
- fitness for military service by state of health
- high level of responsibility, discipline, and communication skills
- no alcohol, drug, or gambling dependency
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service
