Overview

The 23rd Separate Mechanized Brigade is a mechanized forces formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade was formed in January 2023 and takes an active part in combat and in ensuring national security and defense measures, and in repelling and containing the armed aggression of the russian federation in one of the hottest sectors. The units are equipped with the latest models of weapons and military equipment, allowing them to effectively carry out combat missions under modern conditions. The brigade's personnel undergo intensive training, including training to NATO standards. Thanks to its structure and equipment, the unit is able to quickly respond to changes in the operational-tactical situation and carry out a variety of missions.

Responsibilities:

• piloting unmanned aerial vehicles in accordance with instructions and protocols
• controlling and maneuvering UAVs while carrying out tasks using unmanned aircraft system equipment
• performing photo and video shooting, gathering information from the air

Requirements:

• theoretical and practical UAV training (drone construction, topography, live streaming, antennas, etc.)
• experience piloting UAVs using UAV system technical equipment
• physical and psychological endurance
• readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
• fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
• experience piloting UAVs under the influence of EW equipment will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• basic military training course
• service in the active combat zone
• specialized training to acquire skills in using UAV technical equipment, with the possibility of training both in Ukraine and abroad
• provision of uniforms, personal protective equipment, and full meals
• the prospect of career growth in military service
• guaranteed annual main leave + additional 10-day leave for family circumstances
• monetary allowance from 20,800 to 190,000 hryvnias depending on task performance and combat orders
• free treatment and financial compensation for injuries sustained in combat
