Fixed-Wing UAV Pilot

Overview

The 17th Separate Heavy Mechanized Kryvyi Rih Brigade is a formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. From 2014 to the present, it has taken an active part in the war against the occupiers. The brigade has fought for Sloviansk, Ilovaisk, and Debaltseve, and defended Mariupol. With the start of the full-scale invasion, the unit carried out missions in eastern and southern Ukraine.

Responsibilities:

• controlling fixed-wing UAVs
• carrying out reconnaissance missions to gather information
• analyzing and processing received intelligence data
• preparing reports on reconnaissance results
• working with special software for UAVs
• continuous search for new technical solutions

Requirements:

• fitness for military service
• motivation, desire to develop technically
• readiness to carry out combat missions in combat areas
• no serious illnesses or harmful habits that would interfere with work
• experience working with UAVs and combat experience will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance from 23,000 to 123,000 hryvnias depending on tasks and orders performed
• social guarantees, provision of gear and necessary equipment
• guaranteed annual main leave (2 parts of 15 days each) and the possibility of additional leave for family circumstances
• support in a friendly team of motivated, active, proactive soldiers and reasonable commanders
• processing of Combat Veteran status and other benefits
