Senior UAS Operator

Overview

The 17th Separate Heavy Mechanized Kryvyi Rih Brigade is a formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. From 2014 to the present, it has taken an active part in the war against the occupiers. The brigade has fought for Sloviansk, Ilovaisk, and Debaltseve, and defended Mariupol. With the start of the full-scale invasion, the unit carried out missions in eastern and southern Ukraine.

Responsibilities:

• coordinating UAV operators' actions
• carrying out tasks related to the use of unmanned aerial vehicles
• flight preparation and control, working with sensors and cameras, reconnaissance, tracking, probing, etc.
• support and maintenance of weapons and special equipment
• performing other tasks related to the position, as instructed by the unit commander

Requirements:

• good physical fitness, moral resilience, and stress resistance
• responsibility and discipline
• fitness for service by state of health
• readiness to perform tasks in combat conditions
• no criminal record
• military service experience will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance from 21,000 to 121,000 hryvnias depending on tasks and orders performed
• social guarantees, provision of gear and necessary equipment
• guaranteed annual main leave (2 parts of 15 days each) and the possibility of additional leave for family circumstances
• support in a friendly team of motivated, active, proactive soldiers and reasonable commanders
• processing of Combat Veteran status and other benefits
