Overview

The 17th Separate Heavy Mechanized Kryvyi Rih Brigade is a formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. From 2014 to the present, it has taken an active part in the war against the occupiers. The brigade has fought for Sloviansk, Ilovaisk, and Debaltseve, and defended Mariupol. With the start of the full-scale invasion, the unit carried out missions in eastern and southern Ukraine.

Responsibilities:

  • organizing the personnel group's work
  • monitoring the timely and accurate reflection of authorized, roster, and actual personnel numbers
  • monitoring quantitative and qualitative changes occurring in personnel as a whole and for each individual serviceman
  • preparing and processing documents (orders, directives, reports, etc.)
  • preparing necessary reports and requests
  • advising servicemen on personnel matters

Requirements:

  • reserve officer or higher education
  • fitness for military service in combat units by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
  • discipline, self-control, leadership qualities
  • ability to work under conditions of increased physical and psychological strain
  • ability to be productive in a multitasking environment
  • ability to quickly adapt to changes and make balanced decisions
  • desire to constantly learn and improve one's skills
  • confident computer user

Conditions:

  • mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
  • monetary allowance from 30,000 to 130,000 hryvnias depending on tasks and orders performed
  • social guarantees, provision of gear and necessary equipment
  • guaranteed annual main leave (2 parts of 15 days each) and the possibility of additional leave for family circumstances
  • support in a friendly team of motivated, active, proactive soldiers and reasonable commanders
  • processing of Combat Veteran status and other benefits
