UAV Operator

Overview

The 23rd Separate Mechanized Brigade is a mechanized forces formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This vacancy is for service in the unmanned systems battalion of the 23rd Brigade.

Responsibilities:

• conducting aerial reconnaissance of enemy positions
• adjusting artillery fire on enemy positions and equipment
• providing escort for groups from other units while carrying out their tasks
• destroying the enemy using strike drones and FPVs
• decoding and analyzing data obtained during reconnaissance
• maintaining various types of drones and equipment for their operation

Requirements:

• experience working with UAVs will be an advantage
• knowledge of drone operating principles and their software
• strong motivation and drive to succeed in accomplishing assigned tasks
• excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
• mandatory digital literacy, ability and willingness to learn new things
• ability to work with mobile applications and electronic devices
• no critical health problems that could affect task performance, readiness to work in a combat zone

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance from 21,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the place and period of task performance
• support during the TCC and Military Medical Commission stage, general military training at a separate training battalion, and specialized training before being assigned tasks
• social benefits in accordance with current legislation: annual leave — 30 calendar days, medical, technical, and materiel provision
