Overview

The 28th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign has been defending Ukraine since the very start of the russian aggression. In 2014, units of the brigade advanced into Donetsk region to cover the state border.
From the first day of the full-scale invasion, the brigade defended Odesa and part of Mykolaiv region. From August 2022, the brigade played a key role in the offensive operation to liberate Kherson and was among the first to enter the city. Since early December 2022 and to this day, the brigade has been carrying out combat missions in the Bakhmut sector, destroying russian army personnel and equipment.

Responsibilities:

• installing and operating EW equipment
• maintaining and keeping EW equipment in good working order
• developing and implementing measures to neutralize enemy UAVs
• effective teamwork to develop and implement electronic warfare strategies
• continuous monitoring of the radio frequency spectrum and signal analysis for timely detection and localization of potential threats

Requirements:

• computer literacy at a confident user level and ability to use radio-electronic equipment
• readiness to work in the zone of combat missions
• fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
• electronic equipment repair skills, an engineering or technical education will be an advantage
• knowledge of foreign languages will be an advantage
• having combat experience will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent

• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on tasks and place of service
