Mortar Platoon Commander

Overview

The 422nd Separate Rifle Battalion is part of the 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade. The unit was formed in 2023 in Ternopil region and took part in fighting in Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The unit is looking for conscientious and motivated citizens who are ready to learn, grow, and together liberate the territories of Ukraine from the russian occupiers.

Responsibilities:

• commanding personnel and carrying out combat missions
• planning and defining targets, taking measures to coordinate fire support
• preparing positions for maneuvering and protecting personnel
• continuous monitoring of the maintenance of combat readiness of weapons, equipment, and ammunition

Requirements:

• a high level of motivation and desire to develop
• experience working in artillery units
• ability to think analytically and perform mathematical calculations
• possession of an officer's military rank or higher education
• complete abstinence from alcoholic beverages and drugs during service
• no criminal record
• readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
• knowledge of foreign languages will be an advantage
• fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• full support for the candidate from the mobilization decision through joining the unit
• possibility of transferring current servicemen via the Armiya+ app
• service in the zone of combat orders execution
