Driver/Driver-Electrician
Overview
The 43rd Separate Artillery Brigade is a military formation of the artillery forces of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade is armed with 2S7 "Pion" and PzH 2000 howitzers. The unit took an active part in the liberation of the Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Kherson regions, and is now helping to contain enemy pressure in key sectors of the front. By decree of the President of Ukraine, the brigade was awarded the honorary distinction "For Courage and Valor."
Responsibilities:
- transporting cargo and personnel to destinations
- ensuring the proper and safe operation of the motor vehicle
- performing regular inspection of the vehicle's condition and its maintenance
- ensuring timely delivery of necessary resources for units
- driving a vehicle in combat and non-combat conditions
- acquiring and maintaining a high level of fire and professional training, improving skills at training centers and independently
- maintaining the serviceable condition of electrical systems and generators (for the driver-electrician)
- reporting to the commander on the availability of fuels and lubricants and any faults
Requirements:
- fitness for service by state of health and moral qualities
- readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
- having driver's license categories B, C
- at least 1 year of driving experience
- ability to drive a car safely and confidently
- knowledge of the design, operating and maintenance rules of automotive equipment and electrical equipment
- a high level of motivation to learn and improve
- discipline, attention to detail
- readiness to comply with strict discipline requirements in everyday life and in combat operations, follow commanders' orders, and show reasonable initiative in carrying out assigned tasks
- no alcohol, drug, or gambling dependencies
- having driver's license categories D, E will be an advantage
- having combat experience, military service, or work in a similar position will be an advantage
- good physical fitness will be an advantage
- technical education will be an advantage
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- monetary allowance from 21,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service
