Squad Leader, Control Section

Overview

The 43rd Separate Artillery Brigade is a military formation of the artillery forces of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade is armed with 2S7 "Pion" and PzH 2000 howitzers. The unit took an active part in the liberation of the Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Kherson regions, and is now helping to contain enemy pressure in key sectors of the front. By decree of the President of Ukraine, the brigade was awarded the honorary distinction "For Courage and Valor."

Responsibilities:

  • maintenance and communications
  • coordinating with the battery commander and other officials
  • ensuring the execution of general tasks and directives
  • responsibility for the safety of personnel and equipment
  • acquiring and maintaining a high level of fire and professional training, continuously improving acquired skills both independently and at training centers
  • supporting and developing team spirit and unit cohesion

Requirements:

  • fitness for service by state of health and moral qualities
  • age from 20
  • a high level of motivation to learn, improve, and achieve success in one's field
  • responsibility, stress resilience, and ability to make quick and well-founded decisions
  • developed leadership qualities
  • developed communication skills
  • readiness to comply with strict discipline requirements in everyday life and in combat operations, follow commanders' orders, and show reasonable initiative in carrying out assigned tasks
  • no alcohol, drug, or gambling dependencies
  • good physical fitness will be an advantage
  • having combat experience or military service experience will be an advantage

Conditions:

  • mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
  • monetary allowance from 23,000 to 60,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service
  • possibility of transferring current servicemen

  • social benefits in accordance with current legislation: annual leave — 30 calendar days, medical care, etc.
