Strike UAV Operator

Overview

The 43rd Separate Artillery Brigade is a military formation of the artillery forces of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade is armed with 2S7 "Pion" and PzH 2000 howitzers. The unit took an active part in the liberation of the Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Kherson regions, and is now helping to contain enemy pressure in key sectors of the front. By decree of the President of Ukraine, the brigade was awarded the honorary distinction "For Courage and Valor."

Responsibilities:

  • controlling unmanned aircraft systems (FPV quadcopter-type or FPV wing-type)
  • carrying out assigned combat missions
  • planning flight routes, knowledge of landmarks and positions
  • performing regular maintenance of UAVs
  • acquiring and maintaining a high level of professional training, continuously improving acquired skills both independently and at training centers

Requirements:

  • fitness for service by state of health and moral qualities
  • readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
  • a high level of motivation to learn, improve, and achieve success in one's field
  • responsibility, stress resilience, and ability to make quick and well-founded decisions
  • good communication skills, ability to work in a team
  • readiness to comply with strict discipline requirements in everyday life and in combat operations, follow commanders' orders, and show reasonable initiative in carrying out assigned tasks
  • no alcohol, drug, or gambling dependencies
  • having combat experience will be an advantage
  • experience working with unmanned aviation systems will be an advantage
  • experience in electronics repair will be an advantage
  • good physical fitness will be an advantage

Conditions:

  • mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
  • possibility of transferring current servicemen
  • monetary allowance from 21,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service
