Tank Crewman

Overview

The 1st Separate Tank Siverska Brigade is a tank forces unit within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Today you stand before a choice that will change your life. Tank crews are the ones who meet the enemy first and deliver a crushing blow. They are professionals who operate combat vehicles that symbolize the unbreakable spirit of our nation. Responsibilities:

• maintaining the tank, performing scheduled inspections and repairs
• safely delivering the crew to the position during a combat mission and evacuating them after completion
• orientation on terrain, memorizing the route, avoiding minefields and ambushes
• operation, technical maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of tanks of various modifications
• compliance with safety standards when working with equipment
• carrying out command's orders regarding fire training and fire support for the unit
• compliance with military discipline and chain of command

Requirements:

• experience operating tracked vehicles (tractor, combine harvester)
• readiness for extended time in confined spaces
• physical and psychological endurance
• attentiveness, caution, quick reaction to changing circumstances
• readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
• ability to work both in a team and independently
• desire to constantly learn and improve one's skills
• ability to quickly adapt to a situation and quickly make sound decisions
• organizational skills, responsibility, stress resilience
• discipline, absence of bad habits (alcohol, drug, gambling addiction, etc.)

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary reward from 50,000 to 150,000 hryvnias depending on the performance of combat tasks and place of service
• social protection for servicemen and their family members
• guaranteed leave in accordance with current legislation of Ukraine
• full provision of military gear
• the opportunity to obtain Combat Veteran status
