Overview

The 425th Separate UAV Systems Battalion, part of the Ground Forces, was formed on the basis of the "Ochi" ("Eyes") unit. The unit has been continuously operating at the front since May 2022 and has united thousands of military UAVs into a single information and communication system for shared use in the interests of the Defense Forces. The unit's reconnaissance and strike crews work in close cooperation with other units and effectively destroy the enemy along the entire front line.

Responsibilities:

• deploying radio networks
• providing technical support for radio network configuration
• deploying and ensuring the uninterrupted operation of communication systems
• maintaining communications equipment, monitoring its operation, and promptly restoring disrupted communications
• administering telecommunications networks
• integrating and maintaining the operation of various communication systems
• training and professional development

Requirements:

• technical familiarity with communications or telecommunications
• responsibility and ability to make independent decisions
• experience in IT or related fields will be an advantage
• age from 18
• fitness for military service

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance from 21,000 hryvnias depending on the place and period of task performance
• support during the TCC and Military Medical Commission stage for civilian candidates
• completion of basic combined-arms training at a separate training battalion before being assigned tasks
