Programmer
Overview
The 92nd Separate Assault Brigade named after Ivan Sirko is a regular formation of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region. Since the start of the russian-Ukrainian war in 2014, it has taken an active part in the defense of the Donbas. Since 2022, the unit has taken part in repelling the full-scale russian invasion in the Kharkiv sector and in the autumn counteroffensive. The brigade continues to defend Ukrainian land. The vacancy involves service in the ground unmanned systems company, whose main tasks are the effective and safe destruction of the enemy, evacuation of the wounded, performing logistics missions, fire support for offensive operations, mining, and other important operations using modern robotic systems.
Responsibilities:
- programming microcontrollers for small and large projects
- developing software using STM32, Arduino, C, C++
- working with communication protocols: UART, CAN, RS-485, Mavlink, PWM
- automating systems, including smart home and Node-RED
- developing high-level programs in Kotlin, Python, JavaScript, Lua
Requirements:
- vocational secondary or higher technical education, education in IT
- knowledge of microelectronics and DC motor control
- ability to quickly master new technologies and solutions
- desire to automate processes to save lives and improve unit efficiency
- ability to drive motor vehicles and possession of a category B, C driver's license will be an advantage
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on assigned tasks and place of service
- service as part of a combat unit
- monetary assistance upon signing the first contract
- completion of basic combined-arms training
- a full package of social payments, including wellness assistance and other types of monetary support
- granting of Combat Veteran status
