External Pilot/UAV Operator

Overview

The 10th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade "Edelweiss" has been defending Ukrainian land from Russian armed aggression since its formation in 2015. In March-April 2022, the brigade's units carried out combat missions in the Kyiv region, and from May 2022 onward in eastern Ukraine. The brigade continues to fight effectively and hold the line of defense. This vacancy is for service within the "STRYZH" unmanned systems battalion of the 10th Brigade "Edelweiss"

Responsibilities:

• controlling UAVs during reconnaissance and monitoring missions
• preparing UAVs for flights, checking equipment before launch
• pre-flight inspection of UAVs and flight planning
• carrying out reconnaissance missions and gathering information
• collecting and transmitting intelligence information to the command post
• destroying the enemy using strike drones and FPVs

Requirements:

• age from 18
• experience piloting UAVs will be an advantage
• ability to work with mobile applications and electronic devices
• fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
• physical endurance and readiness to work in field conditions
• readiness to work in the combat zone

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent
• monetary allowance in accordance with current legislation
• guaranteed annual main leave of 30 days + additional 10-day leave for family circumstances
• completion of specialized training and ongoing opportunities for development
• Combat Veteran status
