Driver-Mechanic
Overview
The 1st Assault Battalion of the 5th Separate Assault Kyiv Brigade is recruiting for contract military service and mobilization. The battalion took part in the fighting for the Lysychansk oil refinery, Siversk, and the Vuhlehirska thermal power plant, and defended Toretsk, Maiorske, and Bakhmut in Donetsk region, where it continues to carry out combat missions.
Responsibilities:
- operating the M113 armored personnel carrier
- keeping the vehicle constantly ready for operation
- ensuring the proper technical condition of the armored personnel carrier
- carrying out combat missions as part of the unit
- compliance with traffic rules and rules for transporting cargo, passengers, and luggage
- checking the technical condition of the motor vehicle before departure on a mission and after return
- ensuring equipment serviceability in accordance with requirements and standards related to road traffic safety
- performing adjustment work
- carrying out combat missions as part of the unit
- transporting military personnel and equipment, and delivering materials to various destinations
- towing broken-down vehicles
Requirements:
- motivation to serve the Ukrainian people and defend the sovereignty of the state
- no alcohol or drug dependency
- age from 18
- fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
- good physical fitness
- a high level of motivation and stress resistance
- accurate shooting skills will be an advantage
- possession of a category B, C, D driver's license will be an advantage
- experience operating tracked vehicles will be an advantage
- military service experience will be an advantage
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent
- service in the combat zone
- provision of uniforms and personal protective equipment, and full meals
- annual main leave + additional leave for family circumstances
- monetary allowance of up to 125,000 hryvnias based on task performance and the execution of combat orders
- free treatment and financial compensation for injury or wounds sustained in combat

- support in processing Combat Veteran documents, halting interest accrual on existing loans, obtaining a mortgage, and processing a tax deduction
