Overview

The 1st Assault Battalion of the 5th Separate Assault Kyiv Brigade is recruiting for contract military service and mobilization into the fire support company. The battalion took part in the fighting for the Lysychansk oil refinery, Siversk, and the Vuhlehirska thermal power plant, and defended Toretsk, Maiorske, and Bakhmut in Donetsk region, where it continues to carry out combat missions.

Responsibilities:

• carrying out combat missions as part of the unit
• maintaining and operating crew-served fire assets, keeping them in constant combat readiness
• performing calculations, aiming weapons at the target
• precision of actions, accurate determination of distance to the target
• monitoring firing results and being able to perform calculations
• adjusting the aim of the machine gun/grenade launcher onto the target
• destroying enemy personnel, equipment, and firepower assets

Requirements:

• motivation to serve the Ukrainian people and defend the sovereignty of the state
• no alcohol or drug dependency
• age from 18
• fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
• good physical fitness
• accurate shooting skills
• accurate shooting skills will be an advantage
• numeracy, observation skills, quick reaction will be an advantage
• military service experience will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• possibility of transferring current servicemen with consent
• direct commander
• service in the active combat zone
• provision of uniforms and personal protective equipment, and full
• meals
• work with Western crew-served weapons (MK-19 grenade launcher/machine gun
• Browning M2/Warrior 82mm mortar)
