UGV Operator
Overview
The 92nd Separate Assault Brigade named after Ivan Sirko is a regular formation of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region. Since the start of the russian-Ukrainian war in 2014, it has taken an active part in the defense of the Donbas. Since 2022, the unit has taken part in repelling the full-scale russian invasion in the Kharkiv sector and in the autumn counteroffensive. The brigade continues to defend Ukrainian land. The vacancy involves service in the Unmanned Systems Battalion.
Responsibilities:
- controlling an unmanned ground or aerial vehicle
- collecting and analyzing data obtained from the use of the unmanned ground robot
- engaging the enemy using a ground robot
- coordinating with the team to perform assigned tasks
- keeping equipment serviceable and performing regular maintenance
Requirements:
- vocational secondary or higher education (technical preferred)
- desire to work with unmanned ground vehicles, study new technologies, and ability to quickly master new equipment
- ability to work in a team, responsibility, discipline
- physical endurance and readiness to carry out tasks
- experience working with UAVs and unmanned ground vehicles preferred
- vehicle driving skills and driver's license categories B, C preferred
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on assigned tasks and place of service
- service as part of a combat unit using modern gear and equipment
- monetary assistance upon signing the first contract
- completion of basic combined-arms training and specialized unmanned ground robot operator training if needed
- regular drills and the opportunity for professional development
- a full package of social payments, including wellness assistance and other types of monetary support
- granting of Combat Veteran status
