UAV Operator

Overview

The 65th Separate Mechanized Brigade "Velykyi Luh" ("Great Meadow") is part of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade became famous for liberating and holding the village of Robotyne, leading to further de-occupation in southern Ukraine. The unit has been successfully and tirelessly defending Ukrainian land from the occupiers in the Zaporizhzhia sector since June 2022. The brigade is currently recruiting motivated patriots who are ready to join the soldiers of the celebrated 65th Separate Mechanized Brigade "Velykyi Luh" in defending their native land.

Responsibilities:

  • controlling strike and/or reconnaissance UAVs using specialized equipment and software
  • conducting visual observation, gathering important information, and transmitting it to the command center
  • storing and processing obtained information
  • performing maintenance and minor repairs of UAV equipment
  • conducting aerial reconnaissance of enemy positions
  • adjusting artillery fire on enemy positions and equipment
  • providing escort for groups from other units while carrying out their tasks

Requirements:

  • age from 18
  • readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
  • fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
  • willingness to constantly learn and develop
  • ability to work with a computer and software
  • a high level of motivation and stress resistance
  • spatial orientation and ability to identify objects
  • responsibility, attentiveness, and ability to make quick decisions
  • ability to work as part of a team
  • compliance with the requirements and standards of military discipline

Conditions:

  • mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
  • possibility of transferring current servicemen from other military units
  • the opportunity for training in your specialty and skills advancement
  • service on the Zaporizhzhia axis
  • participation in ensuring national security, deterring and repelling the enemy's armed aggression
  • gear and equipment provision, including personal protective equipment, accommodation, meals, and medical care
  • annual main leave during martial law, up to 30 days
  • monetary allowance from 20,100 to 200,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service
  • annual monetary wellness assistance
  • monetary assistance for signing the first contract
  • Combat Veteran status
