Electronic Reconnaissance Section Operator
Overview
The 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade is a military formation of the mechanized forces within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Since the start of russian aggression in 2014, the brigade's units have been involved in many sectors of the war in the east. During the russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, the brigade took part in the defense of Volnovakha, Bakhmut, and Avdiivka.
Responsibilities:
- intercepting and analyzing the radio-frequency spectrum to detect enemy communications systems and radar stations
- identifying the signal type, its source, and purpose
- deploying, configuring, and monitoring the serviceability of equipment
- detecting and eliminating faults
- maintaining reporting on detected threats and work results
Requirements:
- age from 18
- readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
- ability to work with personnel
- basic computer proficiency
- fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
- secondary, vocational secondary, or higher education
- willingness to constantly learn and develop
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- monetary allowance from 50,000 to 190,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service
- possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent
- training in Ukraine or abroad
- provision of uniforms, personal protective equipment, and full meals
- the prospect of career growth, development of leadership skills
- guaranteed annual main leave of 30 days
- free treatment and financial compensation for injuries sustained in combat
- social protection and guaranteed life insurance in the amount of up to 15 million hryvnias
- one-time payment of 25,000 hryvnias upon signing the first contract
- payment of monetary compensation for subletting or renting housing
