Mortar Commander

Overview

The 2nd Mechanized Battalion is part of the 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade. The unit took part in the defense of Ukraine in the Serebrianskyi forestry, Chasiv Yar, Ocheretyne, and Kupiansk. The unit's service members are fully provided for. This vacancy is for service in the mortar battery. The unit is looking for conscientious and motivated citizens who are ready to learn, grow, and together liberate the territories of Ukraine from the russian occupiers.

Responsibilities:

• planning and conducting training sessions with one's own unit to improve combat readiness
• directing and monitoring the work of subordinates who service the mortar and ammunition, and who handle engineering equipment and mortar camouflage
• monitoring the condition of the mortar and ammunition
• performing tactical calculations and analyzing enemy actions
• maintaining documentation: planning, accounting, and reporting
• fostering healthy communication within the team

• military training preferred
• readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
• fitness for military service
• ability to make balanced decisions
• responsibility, attentiveness, and stress resilience
• leadership and communication skills

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent
• annual main leave of 30 days
• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service
• support during the Military Medical Commission stage at the Regional TCC, ensuring enlistment specifically in the relevant unit
