Auto Mechanic

Overview

The 1st Separate Assault Regiment is a unit of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The unit has taken part in combat in the most difficult sectors of the front: the Kupiansk-Balakliia operation, the defense of Vuhledar, Bakhmut, Kupiansk, and Chasiv Yar, and offensive operations in the Kupiansk sector. The unit is currently actively growing and needs qualified, motivated service members. This vacancy is for service in the repair battalion.

Responsibilities:

• repair and maintenance of motor vehicles
• diagnosing and eliminating vehicle malfunctions
• planning and performing regular vehicle maintenance according to military unit standards
• ordering and monitoring the availability of spare parts and tools for repair work

Requirements:

• experience repairing and maintaining vehicles
• knowledge of automotive equipment, electrics, and electronics
• ability to work with diagnostic equipment and tools
• computer diagnostics skills
• driver's license

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• possibility of transferring current servicemen
• monetary allowance depending on prior length of service, assigned tasks, and place of service
• provision of uniforms and personal protective equipment, full meals
• guaranteed annual paid main leave of 30 days + additional 10-day leave for family circumstances
• qualified guidance at all stages of mobilization or transfer through to taking up the position
• social benefits in accordance with current legislation
• service in the rear/near the active combat zone/in the active combat zone
