A landmark event took place in Lviv. The 1st Recruitment Center of the Ground Forces of the AFU has opened its office in the city. This was initiated by the Center's chief, Lieutenant Colonel Ruslan Furdylo. From now on, residents and visitors of the city have the opportunity to learn about mobilization options and open vacancies in all Ground Forces brigades, including for signing a contract, from 1st Recruitment Center specialists who will work at Lviv's Central Railway Station.

“Supporting citizens and their desire to join the ranks of Ukraine's Defense Forces is always a priority for us,” said Lieutenant Colonel Ruslan Furdylo at the opening of the Lviv office, “given that previously, to process documents, including undergoing the medical commission and tests, potential recruits had to travel to us in Kyiv, spending time and extra money, I decided to make this path easier for them. By opening our hub in the glorious City of the Lion, we will be able to significantly simplify joining the units of the Ground Forces of the AFU not only for Lviv residents, but for all Ukrainians living in the western part of our country. After all, getting to Lviv will be much easier for them than traveling to Kyiv.”

Now all services provided by the 1st Recruitment Center of the Ground Forces of the AFU can be obtained at a convenient stationary recruitment point that will operate at the railway station daily, except Sunday — from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays and until 2 p.m. on Saturday.

The 1st Recruitment Center of the Ground Forces of the AFU is a relatively young unit that started operating only last year. However, under the leadership of Ruslan Furdylo, in this short period it has already achieved considerable results and deservedly earned respect and recognition among both civilians and servicemen. A significant number of yesterday's civilians joined the ranks of the Ground Forces precisely thanks to the 1st Center, which is why they now recommend it to their friends and colleagues. The Center has many advantages, including a high level of service and a qualified team of fighters with combat experience, who don't just provide services but, from their own experience, recommend which position is best to choose and what a recruit should consider for their future service to be as comfortable as possible.

There is also the option to sign a contract, including under the “Contract 18-24” project.

An important advantage is the possibility of an accelerated medical commission, tests, and case processing with specialists of the 1st Recruitment Center of the Ground Forces of the AFU right in Lviv. After completing all these stages, the recruit immediately goes to the military unit or training center for basic combined-arms training.
