The “18-24” Contract – the choice of conscious youth!

Representatives of the 1st Recruitment Center of the Ground Forces, together with the Ground Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Ukrinform, held a press conference on the specifics of the project.

Today's press conference was dedicated to the implementation of the state experimental project “Contract 18-24,” during which journalists received answers to all their questions and also spoke with young contract soldiers. Our representatives — media relations officer Alla Punko and image production group officer Maksym Tieplov — explained the conditions and benefits of the contract in detail.

As a reminder, this contract is available to young people aged 18 to 24 inclusive. The selection criteria include: appropriate age, no criminal record, satisfactory health confirmed by a medical commission (VLK), passing a psychological screening, and no officer rank — since the contract provides for service in enlisted positions.

Among the benefits of the “18-24” contract: total annual income of up to UAH 2,000,000, a 0% mortgage after completing the contract under the eOselya program, free higher education after the contract, medical coverage (including dentistry), housing rent compensation during service, free public transport, the right to travel abroad after 1 year of service, and exemption from conscription for 1 year after completing the contract.

Recruits in the “18-24” project undergo thorough basic combined-arms training directly at the training grounds of the chosen combat brigades or at training centers, professional training, as well as team coordination. All signatories receive modern equipment and gear, and after training they take up positions in the most effective brigades of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
