24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo
The brigade was formed in 2014 at the start of Russian aggression.
From the very first days of the war, it took part in combat operations in Donbas.
It is known for its active participation in the defense of Donetsk Airport, the battles for Luhansk, and other key positions.
In 2022–2025, the 24th OMBr has actively defended Ukrainian land in the zone of the full-scale war.
The brigade has a rich history of combat merit and has been awarded numerous decorations.

Named in honor of King Danylo of Halych — a great Ukrainian statesman, a symbol of strength and wisdom.
The brigade preserves the traditions of military honor and patriotism.
Annual celebrations are held for Brigade Day, veteran reunions, and victory celebrations.
It actively maintains cultural ties with local communities in Lviv Oblast.
