91st Separate Anti-Tank Battalion
The 91st Separate Anti-Tank Battalion is a specialized unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, whose main task is to detect, engage, and destroy enemy armored vehicles, including tanks and combat vehicles.
The history of the 91st Battalion began with its formation to strengthen the anti-tank capabilities of the Ukrainian army.
Since its creation, the battalion has actively participated in combat operations, including in the zone of the Joint Forces Operation, where it effectively carries out missions to repel enemy armored attacks.
Battalion command
Anti-tank platoons: equipped with modern anti-tank guided missile systems (ATGMs).
Reconnaissance unit: for detecting enemy vehicles.
Support units: signal, logistics, repair, and medical support.
The 91st Battalion is equipped with modern anti-tank weapons, including:
Anti-tank guided missile systems (ATGMs): "Stugna-P", "Korsar", and others
Anti-tank grenade launchers.
Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs): for reconnaissance and fire adjustment.
Small arms: for personnel self-defense.
Young soldiers are inducted into the battalion through an initiation ritual, which often includes endurance tests, tests of ATGM handling skills, and informal stages — humorous trials, a "reconnaissance in force."
After initiation, a recruit earns the right to use a call sign and wear the battalion's patch — a symbol of trust and acceptance.
The battalion has its own flags and emblems, patches that symbolize its combat purpose.
The battalion's symbolism (such as an image of anti-tank weapons or a stylized shield) inspires respect and pride among its members.
