475th Separate Assault Regiment "CODE 9.2"

475th Separate Assault Regiment "CODE 9.2" (Armed Forces of Ukraine). Publicly known as "CODE 9.2."
Branch of service: an assault unit with a reinforced robotic UAV component.
Formally grew out of a strike "drone" unit.
Origin of the name: "CODE 9.2" as a reference to the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade, within whose ranks the unit was formed; upon receiving its own number, it retained its original name.

2022: began as a reconnaissance platoon within the 92nd Brigade; rapid transition from foot reconnaissance missions to systematic UAV use and the formation of a strike "platoon of bombers."
January 2025: reorganized into the 475th Separate Assault Battalion "CODE 9.2" with a reinforced structure (assault companies, artillery, tanks, air defense).
August 2025: expanded into a regiment (475th Separate Assault Regiment), withdrawn from subordination to the 92nd Brigade, and integrated into the newly created "assault" branch of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Combat employment (open-source): mentions of actions near Bakhmut, Lyman, and Kharkiv Oblast; in September the unit was recorded in the Kupiansk area.

The exact table of organization is classified information; below is only what the unit/media have made public themselves.

Regiment command and headquarters/support units;
Assault companies (1st, 2nd, 3rd) — infantry assault;
Tank/armored component (referred to as a "tank company" in open descriptions of the battalion);
Artillery unit (tube/rocket — no specifics in public sources);
Short-range air defense unit;
UAV component (strike/reconnaissance, including FPV) as a system-forming link;
Engineer element / EOD (demining/clearing).

UAVs/robots: strike FPVs, loitering/bomber platforms, integrated use of ground/aerial robotic systems in assault and defense (official interviews mention up to 70% of missions carried out by robots).
Armored vehicles: at the battalion level, a tank element was reported, along with planned reinforcement with Bradley IFVs (M2 Bradley).
Artillery and short-range air defense: mentioned as organic units; types/calibers are not disclosed publicly.
EW/communication/surveillance equipment: implied by the "drone-assault" unit's profile and public descriptions (without specific models).

Note: specific inventories/table of organization/quantities are not disclosed for operational security reasons.

"IT DNA" and an anti-bureaucratic approach: the unit repeatedly emphasizes "NATO-like standards," minimal "army bureaucracy," and a focus on equipment/technology/training.
Mass adoption of robotics and innovation: public statements by the commander/officers about changing tactics — "planning assaults with a high percentage of work done by robots."
Own charitable ecosystem/brand: the CODE 9.2 Foundation operates; distinctive identity (sleeve patch), active public platforms.
Recruitment openness: a separate website with job listings, communication about service conditions (including for young people under the "Contract 18–24"). Disclaimer: the financial/social guarantee terms on the site are public offers from the unit/foundation; final terms are governed by state regulations.
