419th Separate Unmanned Systems Battalion

The 419th Separate Unmanned Systems Battalion is a unit within the Ground Forces that specializes in high-tech reconnaissance and fire engagement using unmanned systems. The unit's main goal is to ensure maximum combat effectiveness, with every specialist working toward a shared result: the precise and inevitable destruction of the enemy.

The unit was formed in 2024 as a dedicated unmanned systems battalion, which allowed the team to focus on a narrow specialization from the outset. The battalion progressed from basic UAV use to the deployment of complex systematic-strike and electronic warfare systems.
An important stage of development was the creation of a unit countering enemy infrastructure (interceptors), which made it possible to effectively control the airspace.

In the battalion, every specialist works within their direct field, which ensures high combat readiness. The unit's structure includes:
Command;
Strike and reconnaissance UAV units;
Units countering (interceptor) enemy UAVs and enemy infrastructure;
Electronic warfare (EW) unit;
UAV workshop;
Support and logistics units.

The battalion provides the full cycle of unmanned systems employment: from assembling a drone in the workshop to directly destroying enemy targets.

The unit's arsenal consists of modern strike and reconnaissance UAVs, including:
Multirotor systems
Fixed-wing UAVs
Loitering munitions and kamikaze drones
Heavy strike systems ("bombers")
Maneuverable FPV drones

The foundation of the battalion's internal culture is respect for professionalism and the development of ambitious specialists. The command supports the training of personnel both in Ukraine and abroad, since the unit's combat readiness directly depends on maintaining an intellectual edge over the enemy.
